I often say to my clients I will work to accommodate their unique schedules and needs when possible. In addition to typical business hours of 8 AM to 6 PM, I have some limited availability on nights/weekends.

One of the most important ethical obligations I have to you and those I serve is around informed consent. I want you to have a thorough understanding of your rights, my obligations, and time for questions. Before we meet for our first appointment, I’ll send you my documents and policies for your review.

I’m currently licensed in the state of Wisconsin to provide psychotherapy services as a licensed psychologist.
Additionally, I have an E.Passport which allows me to meet with patients virtually in any of the 42 states which are part of PsyPact. To see an updated map of included states, click here.

I see the first session as an opportunity to get to know you across different domains of life — from family to social dynamics to what brings you to therapy. This “intake” is the tip of the iceberg for your life, and provides me with important information about what is going well and what we might focus on going forward.

Sessions are scheduled for about 50-55 minutes, which is commonly known as the “therapy hour.”

I accept United Health Care, Aetna, Medicare, and private pay. Importantly, I can provide documentation for out-of-network reimbursement (i.e., a “superbill”).

Sessions are conducted via telehealth/online video calls. In some circumstances (e.g., slower data service), I can offer phone-based psychotherapy, as well.
